Faith Evangelical Church was established in 1911 (see the 90th year anniversary celebration) by the Evangelical United Brethren. In 1968, the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Evangelical United Church merged together to form the present United Methodist Church. Throughout the years, Faith church has been a lighthouse on the corner of York Road and North Avenue in Elmhurst, Illinois. As an evangelical in tradition, Faith is a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching, mission and family-oriented church. We seek to be faithful to the WORD, our Lord Jesus Christ as witnessed by the Scriptures, and responsive to our context through mission and service in the world.
